In the evening, take a cable car to Kok Tobe Hill, where you’ll enjoy sweeping views of Almaty lit up at night. Visit the Beatles Monument and stop by a cozy café for a warm drink.

Next, head to the famous Medeu Ice Rink, a magical spot during winter. From there, take a night gondola ride to Shymbulak, where the mountain scenery is even more breathtaking in the moonlight.

Walk through Panfilov Park, admire the glowing Zenkov Cathedral, and explore the busy streets of Dostyk Avenue & Arbat Street, where you’ll find shopping, live music, and holiday entertainment. If you want to continue the night, optional stops at ZAZA Bar, Sky Bar, or a jazz club are available.

In the evening, set off for Charyn Canyon, where you’ll arrive just in time to catch the last rays of sunlight over the cliffs. Enjoy a campfire dinner under the open sky, far away from city lights. The canyon is an incredible place for stargazing, and on a clear night, you might spot the Milky Way. Stay overnight in a tent for a more immersive experience, or return to Almaty before midnight.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and prepare for your flight. Make sure you have all your travel documents and arrive at the airport with plenty of time for check-in.
